A five-year-old boy, Ron, finds himself all alone in a government settlement in Utah, having just lost everyone he knew.
The Rescue
Dr. Eva Schneider, having just lost her husband, broke free of the chains that bound her mind long enough to have compassion for a little orphaned boy.
Uncle John
Eva and Ron knew about an Uncle John, but although Eva had met him a couple times, she had no memory. Uncle John comes in our story in Part Two, but the Great Rebellion owes much to him.
